By accessing Xpost, the xpostapi.com website, or any of its API endpoints (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page; continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.

Xpost is an automated search and indexing service for publicly posted content on X (formerly Twitter). The Service collects publicly available posts, their engagement metrics, and attached media on a schedule, stores them in a searchable index, and exposes that index through a website and a public, read-only API.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the index is complete, accurate, up to date, or continuously available. Collection depends entirely on third-party public sources that may change, rate-limit, or become unavailable at any time, and we may add, remove, pause, or discontinue any data source, endpoint, or the entire Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

Xpost is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with X Corp. or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. "X" and "Twitter" are trademarks of their respective owners; any reference is for identification purposes only.

All indexed posts, usernames, images, videos, and other content remain the property of their original authors and rights holders. Xpost claims no ownership of indexed content and displays only metadata and links alongside limited public previews.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not: (a) exceed reasonable request volumes or attempt to circumvent rate limits or caching; (b) resell, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of the index or its media as a competing data product; (c) use the Service to harass, defame, dox, or infringe the rights of any person; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, or its administrative interfaces; or (e) use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the terms of any third-party platform.

You are solely responsible for how you use the data and media returned by the Service, including your compliance with X's terms of service, copyright law, privacy law, and any other rules that apply to your downstream use. We reserve the right to rate-limit, throttle, suspend, or permanently block any user, IP address, or API consumer that we, in our sole discretion, determine to be abusing the Service — without notice and without liability.

Certain features (such as the admin console) require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate any account at any time for any reason, including suspected abuse, violation of these terms, or inactivity, without notice and without liability. Accounts are provided at our discretion and confer no ownership, license, or continued-access rights.

If you are an author or rights holder and believe indexed content infringes your rights or you want your content removed from the index, contact us with the post URL(s) in question and a description of your claim. For verified requests, we will remove the content from the index. Because the Service re-collects from public sources, we also reserve the right to exclude the identified account or content from future collection.

Removal from the Xpost index does not remove content from X itself; you must contact X Corp. for that.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, DATA QUALITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ITS API WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANY DEFECT WILL BE CORRECTED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, XPOST AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, WHICH IS A MATERIAL BASIS FOR THESE LIMITATIONS.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Xpost and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your use of indexed content or media, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue the Service or any part of it — including any API endpoint, data source, or tracked account — at any time, for any reason, without notice and without liability. We may also revise these terms from time to time; the version posted on this page is the version in effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
